I designed and carved this woodcut printing plate based on a photograph shared by a friend. I carved a second plate to represent additional water. The plates were printed on white fabric and painted. I assembled the printed fabric to give the filling of motion, as if you were clicking a series of photographs as you watched a boat drift by.
