hand carved linocut printing plate. Printed on fabric and hand painted. The bordering fabric is dyed. While on retreat with a group of artists at the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I designed and carved this linocut printing plate. The border fabric was dyed at this same time. The image was then printed onto fabric and painted and the fabrics were pieced together and stitched for texture.
